Two For Two Wheel Tuesday

First off, very excited to hear that Brett McCormick is going to be racing in the US (I would have preferred to see him in BSB but rides were sparse there this year) and he’ll once again be riding for Pascal Picotte on Suzuki’s.  We will get to see him at Daytona, where he’ll race the 200 and Superbikes.  Check out his new lid for Daytona! The work was done by Andre Roy of 66GraphX.com

Really well done lid!!  Good luck to Brett!!

Now some of you may have seen this on other sites, if not, this is mega cool.  Here is the valve train of the new BMW S1000RR spinning at 14,000 RPMS!!

2009 BSB Series Set To Launch

Once again for 2009 the British Superbike Series looks to be the premier domestic Superbike series in the world.  With many of last years championship contenders now gone to World Superbike and Supersport, there are many names looking to step up and take the title.  Leon Camier looks to be a favorite, along with Sylvan Guintoli joining the series from MotoGP and the return of Chris “Stalker” Walker to the series as well.

With the American Superbikes series becoming a joke, do to the organizers, not the level of talent, the BSB series will be a can’t miss for those of us here in The States.  Have a look at the official launch video for the BSB Series.

And as OBTW, the BSB series will have 55 hours of LIVE TV coverage.  Live racing, what a novel concept.  Hello SPEED/DMG!!!!

Two Wheel Tuesday Cadwell Park’s Mountain Jump

If you are a listener to the RumblestripRadio Show (and we know that you are!), in our interview with Chaz Davies you might have caught us talking about this track when I brought up some of the British Tracks.  Truly one of the epic, and dangerous sections of racetrack in the world.

Jack and Jamie give the call in this 2007 BSB race, and you know this is all old hat to them as they don’t even notice as Leon Haslam leads Johnny Rea and Leon Camier in some massive air time over the jump.
